The CIC seeks to provide wellbeing services in an inspiring enjoyable environment to adults through connection to other people in real life rather than through technology while staying at home, access to literature and other Arts, entertainment / talks / classes / meet ups focussed on bringing joy, knowledge or mental wellbeing improvements, encouragement to be physically active and to find a creative outlet if creative, as well as other activities which help with finding and thriving in employment plus overcoming procrastination and other obstacles in their personal life. ​
WITH GREATER FOCUS ON...
Adults on minimum / living wage, benefits or other low income who could not normally afford to engage in activities that are positive for their wellbeing or with the Arts where these can be uplifting.
Adults from disadvantaged backgrounds in the North East who don’t usually take care of their own mental and physical well being, and who don’t usually engage with the Arts, and to combat negativity around them holding them back with positive role models and positive experiences.
Adults feeling lonely and isolated from others, who may or may not be introverted, from 18 through to OAPs.
Adults with ADHD, diagnosed or undiagnosed, who need extra motivation to complete tasks important in their personal lives and to practice self care.
To include the promotion of the local artist community and to encourage entrepreneurs.
