We’re accepting gently used books for Read & Rabbit's shelves to help everyone enjoy books and to foster a sacred space. The sacred space is you - we also hold events to connect people, encourage their creativity & empower them to be their best selves, be kind to themselves and to others.
Books Wanted
We want your preloved books that are works of fiction aimed at adults, poetry or local interest non-fiction which still have a keen market and have been kept in a clean heated environment.
Books should be complete with all their pages and any jacket, clean, dust free, stickers neatly removed from the front and undamaged (unless very slight wear). Books should not be written in but can have an inscription or a limited amount of underlining.
Fiction should be published post 2000 - however classics whatever time they were published are always wanted by our customers.
If we have too many of a certain book or just don’t think we will be able to find a new home for it, we may decline your kind offer for that reason. We still accept books for children that are large size (think 25cm ish plus tall), as new and published in last 10 years

Dusty or damp books that were stored in a garage/shed etc

Books in poor condition or missing pages/dust jacket. Book covers ruined by stickers.

Non fiction unless is specific to the local area

Fiction written pre 2000 unless a classic or attractive vintage binding

Books for teens/young adults.

Books for children that are not large size, as new and published in last 10 years

Mass prints such as Reader’s Digest, Dickens or Shakespeare
