Staithes

By car I like to go in winter or after 6pm in high season when parking is free at the top. All day there are buses from Loftus but bus stop also at the top. You need to walk down a steep hill into the village. Their museum is excellent. The vintage tea room is lovely and open during the day. Cod & Lobster do wonderful food and have hilarious songs sometimes playing outside - you have to experience this quayside gem for yourself.
